FOOD

What we choose to eat has a significant environmental impact - if it has travelled half way across the world, if it is sold in plastic containers, if it is heavily processed. In addition it's estimated that food accounts for approximately 15% of goods transported on Britain's roads.  You can make positive choices to reduce the environmental impact of your food.

  • Buy locally produced food, Farm Shops sell local food.
